My Story
With a background in fintech startups and a passion for technology, I’ve built my career at the intersection of customer success, product, and business strategy. In New York City, I scaled customer success operations, drove product adoption, and improved user engagement at several fast-growing startups — experiences that sharpened my ability to align customer needs with business goals and fuel my passion for building user-centered products.
I recently completed my Executive MBA at IESE Business School, where I deepened my understanding of Strategy , Digital Transformation, and Entrepreneurship. Now based in Madrid and actively exploring my next chapter, I'm focused on opportunities where I can combine product thinking, customer empathy, and strategic insight to help businesses grow and evolve.
After earning my bachelor’s degree, I began my career at one of New York City’s largest law firms located in Midtown Manhattan, where I helped secure over $50 million in compensation for victims of the September 11th attacks. Working closely with clients, I leveraged my bilingual skills and relationship-building abilities to make a meaningful impact. However, while I valued this work, I realized that pursuing a traditional attorney path wasn’t the right fit for me.
Driven by a desire to broaden my global perspective and explore new ways to create positive change, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in International Relations abroad. Studying internationally deepened my understanding of global systems, diplomacy, and cross-cultural dynamics, and exposed me to innovative approaches in finance and technology.
I pursued a Master’s in International Relations in Barcelona to deepen my understanding of how technology, finance, and policy intersect on a global scale. Immersed in one of Europe’s most dynamic cities, I explored the role of inclusive innovation in expanding economic opportunity for migrants and under served communities.
As part of the program, I interned at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, where I pitched a mobile financial services app designed to support migrants in navigating cross-border banking. I also co-authored a policy brief for Barcelona’s city council focused on empowering refugee and migrant entrepreneurs. These experiences shaped my belief that meaningful impact happens at the intersection of user-centered technology, inclusive policy, and lived experience.
Returning to New York just before the pandemic, I immersed myself in Brooklyn’s fast-moving startup ecosystem — drawn to companies using technology to solve urgent, real-world problems.I joined a civic tech initiative piloting a mobile app to compensate domestic workers for their labor in real time — a project focused on bringing dignity, transparency, and economic security to a workforce often overlooked and underpaid. Working closely with engineers, organizers, and policy advisors, I helped roll out the pilot and supported user onboarding for domestic workers and employers alike.
Later, I joined a housing-focused startup where we built a flexible rent payment platform to help tenants navigate the financial shocks of COVID-19. My role involved both product feedback and customer engagement — ensuring our tool met the needs of renters facing instability and landlords managing uncertainty. Most recently, I led a Customer Success team at a fintech startup offering mobile banking to low-income Americans. I built processes from the ground up, advocated for users internally, and worked across teams to improve accessibility, trust, and financial literacy.
After four years in fintech, I chose to broaden my business expertise by pursuing an Executive MBA at IESE Business School in Madrid — ranked 1st in Europe and 3rd globally by the Financial Times. Throughout the program, I focused on entrepreneurship, competitive strategy, and marketing, honing skills in identifying innovation opportunities, achieving product–market fit, designing go-to-market strategies, and navigating competitive landscapes.
Beyond the classroom, I served as Co-Founder and President of the IESE Executive MBA Entrepreneurship Club, organizing events with alumni entrepreneurs to foster insights and connections across the ecosystem. I also launched The Aspira Guide, a blog where I share insights on product development, tech trends, and startup culture—while documenting my own journey as an EMBA graduate and aspiring entrepreneur. Finally, I built Aspira, an AI forecasting and marketplace MVP for early stage start ups in Spain to further hone my product skills.

AspiraFlow: Prototype March 2025
The idea for AspiraFlow came about as a result of my desire to help foment start up success here in Spain. After speaking with Spanish founders, I understood cash flow was one of the major obstacles that they faced. This led me to conceive the idea of AspiraFlow, ¨Aspira¨meaning to aspire for more and ¨Flow¨ to reflect cash flow. My goal with AspiraFlow was to help founders have more clarity with their finances in order to help them better predict trends, track expenses, and manage cash flow through financial forecasting. I designed a prototype through Figma ensuring the user journey, UX design, and usability of the product made sense before creating the MVP. I also created a feedback survey pertaining not only to the design, but also other challenges founders faced in order to gauge interest and next steps.

Aspira: MVP April 2025
I began with a broad set of features — a Cash Flow Dashboard, Expense Tracking, and Forecasting — but after early feedback and testing, I narrowed the focus to a simpler AI-powered forecasting tool for early-stage startups. The idea was to help founders input core financials (like revenue, expenses, and cash on hand) and receive AI-generated insights to optimize their cash flow, runway, and decision-making. I also explored integrating a marketplace to connect users with local resources and support services. While I went through some initial validation, interest was limited, and progress stalled. I'm currently rethinking the direction and exploring simpler, more relevant problems to solve — but the process gave me valuable insights into startup pain points and product iteration.

The Aspira Guide – Insights on Tech, Product & Entrepreneurship
Aspiration fuels innovation—and that’s the essence of The Aspira Guide. Born from my experiences in NYC’s fintech startup scene and my MBA journey in Madrid, this blog explores the intersection of product, technology, and entrepreneurship.
While currently on pause, I plan to relaunch in September 2025 with new content focused on strategy, product development, and lessons from pivoting and building as a solo founder. The Aspira Guide reflects my belief in learning in real-time, iterating fast, and sharing the behind-the-scenes of building meaningful tools.
